Set Default Assignment Rule

Assign new leads to specific staff, by queue, or team, so everyone got push notifications.

Default Assignment Rule

We have defaulted to assign to "Admin 1".

Conversation will assign to "Admin 1"

Set rules to assign conversations to different staff

Check the different assignment roles you may set.

1. Unassigned

First staff respondent = Assignee

Conversations will be left as unassigned will remain in the tool for all admin/staff to pick up the conversations

Contact owners for new customers are unknown by default

2. By Queue

Evenly distribute conversation to staffs

Conversations will be assigned to staff one-by-one in round robin. For example, if you have 4 staff, it will be assigned like Staff 1 -> Staff 2 -> Staff 3 -> Staff 4 -> Staff 1 -> .....

3. Specific Person

All conversation assign to one specific user

4. Specific Team

All conversation assign to unassigned/by queue/specific person of team

Change default assignment rule

1. Change default assignee

For example: Change "Admin 1" to "Specific Person" > "Sales Manager 1"

New conversation will then assign to "Sales Manager 1"
